Greetings to all, With the kids ready to go back to school and days getting shorter, I hope you are all as eager as I am for the start of the 2009-2010 curling season. I hope that you enjoyed summer when it finally arrived in August.

This letter is to outline the different spiels we are holding at the Elora Curling Club this season. Whether it is your first time at our club or are returning again to greet some old as well meet some new friends, all of our popular spiels are back from last year. The only change from last year is that our Men's cash speil is now an Open cash spiel on the last Saturday in February.
We have 2 MIXED, 2 OPEN, and 1 LADIES spiel, starting with the Gencor spiel on Tuesday Jan 12th, 2010. Please contact us as soon as you can because some spiels will fill early.
All spiels have lunch and dinner provided. Our final spiel is a 2 day event. There is a dance on Saturday night and brunch on Sunday morning as well as a large number of door prizes supplied by our local merchants.
I know many of you have previously curled at our club and we look forward to seeing you again this year. If you haven't had a chance to see our club yet, come on out. Hope to see you soon in Elora.
